Home in Al Ain

We got to Al Ain after a couple of good days looking around Abu Dhabi.

Al Ain is about 120 kilometres from Abu Dhabi and due to the speeding over here and Chel's easy adoption of Emirates style driving it's about a 50 minute drive!!

Here is a photo of the villa from outside. It is great, and roomy. Our neighbours include an Emirati who only uses his villa to smoke shisha with his mates in the front yard while watching a massive TV which is set up every afternoon out there, at any point of the evening there is at least $2 million dollars of vehicles parked out the front of his place including Bentleys, Porsches and Hummers. Another neighbour is a second wife who gets around in the most fabulous shoes and outfits underneath her Abaya. Her husband comes to visit every Saturday. There are a few Aussies here and Scots and Kiwis, so a nice Multicultural community.

Trap for young players - the garbage is picked up manually at every hour of the day. I left a bag of lamb outside to defrost only about a foot from front foor and it was gone in the bin half an hour later! Meat goes in back yard from now on.
