Along Dubai Creek outside the Spice and Gold Souqs there is the organised chaos of heaps and heaps of wooden dhow boats bound for every Gulf port including Kuwait, Oman, India and Iran that are docked and loading and unloading their cargo day and night.
Living on the dhows looks pretty tough and the boats don't look alltogether seaworthy to land lubber eyes.
On the footpath there are stacks and stacks of goods waiting to be transferred - electrical, car tyres, white goods etcetc.
