At the base of Jebel Hafeet is the Green Mubazzarah, which is a big park set up for barbeques, the UAE version of camping(elaboration another time), hot springs, and segregated steam pools.
It is always pumping with families having barbeques, young Emiratis doing hot laps, bus loads of Pakistanis on work organised recreation day and all types and is just great people watching.
Chel and I are usually the only Westerners hanging around like sore thumbs. We are getting set up with our own barbie and blankets. We just need 66 family members and we will fit in just fine.
Today it was really busy as it was such a beautiful day after all the rain.
