In between the spice and gold souqs in Deira in Dubai there is a tiny alley, Hindi Lane, with vendors selling temple offerings, flower garlands, holy images, sandalwood, bindis and sacred ash. There is a Hindu Temple nearby as well. It is frenetic, and feels like a little slice of India in the middle of Dubai. It's great.
