Well, we are 2 weeks into it with another two to go and we have survived so far pretty unscathed!
Chel will be telling our grand kids about it one day-
The Great Dubai Shopping Festival of 2008.
"How'd you get through it grandpa?"
"Oh, it was horrible Charlie, there was 40% off Hugo Boss, 60% off Salvatore Ferragamo, 45% off bespoke Italian shoes. Every time I thought I was safe I would turn a corner and there would be Missoni 60% off, Hermes 40%, Lacroix, Dior, Prada, Mahnolo Blahnik all massively reduced all tax free, it just kept coming at us, with no reprieve".
The Dubai Shopping Festival runs for a month until the 24th February, and depending on the timing of dips in blood sugar levels, retail therapy sessions and PMS we may be home in 3 weeks, broke but really well dressed!! Needing a floor to sleep on in our Versace sheets. :))

oh i feel for you Chel........
anyway Ness you need to keep your caffine levels high ( i suggest multiple doppio's throughout the session) so you are on high alert with your eyes like a hawk darting from one 40% off sign to the next. don't look up or down just left to right. you need to let chel rest at times as we all know you will need him to carry the galore of designer bargains back and forth to the car!
