It's really incredible to be here and see a city being built. It is different to seeing one landmark building being constructed every few years in an existing city, here there will be a whole city in about 18 months full of incredible infrastructure and design, not the way we are used to seeing a city evolve over generations. It seems like the vista of Dubai changes weekly and many of the cranes and worksites are 24 hour operations.
This view got my attention as it contains the old UAE - a camel farm and then progress - all the new buildings behind it. The water from the rain still hasn't drained in many places as they are below sea level, that's where the reflection is from.
