The Grand Bazaar or Kapalıçarşı is massive with more than 58 streets and 6,000 shops, selling jewelery, pottery, spice, and carpets as well as truckloads of genuine fakes. The vendors here obviously haven't been put off by the ebay/Louis Vuitton fine. As much as I wanted to get you all a whirling dervish snowstorm, pair of Sultan slippers or a fez, I had hit the exhaustion wall at that point and had a cup of coffee instead, where the waiter offered himself up as the special dessert of the day. 'Nah thanks, just a moccachino and a fruit tart'
