Our House
I realised that we hadn't put up any pictures of our house or suburb. We still stick out like sore thumbs and especially when I (Ness) am driving by myself, get totally gawked at and our comings and goings are duly noted by the guys who run the grocery shop and the maintenance man for our house. It's just Engrish, but sometimes we go through a friendly interrogation before we get to our door as to where we've been and what we've done.
The villas in the top photo are all built exactly the same and are sort of the Noosa Waters part of the neighbourhood, without the canals, whilst our villa is across the other side. Downstairs we have Burjuman Cafeteria, which for the sake of gastro intestinal health is still to be sampled, Goodland Grocery store which is the size of the average garden shed but is a veritable tardus. You want a superman toy, trigonmetry set, egg or bread, by the single serve, broom and a box of hair oil? Goodland's your type of place. As it is Summer, you just sit in the car and beep until you get served or call them and get it delivered to the door. Oh and three mosques.
I never imagined living in a bright yellow cement edifice with blue windows, but there you go, this is home sweet home.
