Oh, by the way...

Sorry all, I forgot to mention, I'm putting this in whilst we're in our room at the Chedi Beach resort and Spa in Muscat, Oman.
Unfortunately we had to come here because I overstayed my Visa for 2 weeks.
Gee. And we really need an excuse to stay in a 5 star hotel??
Bookings here are hard to come by. Ness mentioned our imminent departure and the regret of not getting a hotel in Muscat, to one of her Emirati colleagues who then kindly rang here and gave them an earful in Arabic...oddly enough we got a return phone call telling us they had a room available.
